Evergold (TSXV: EVER) is a B.C.-focused mineral exploration company, established late in 2015 around four 100%-owned properties from well known B.C. geologist C.J. (Charlie) Greig.  The Evergold team has delivered major discoveries before, most recently (2017) the now greater than 16 million ounce ‘Saddle’ gold-copper discovery in northwest B.C., which Newmont has bought into.  Listed publicly late in 2019, the Company’s principal value lies in two early-stage gold-silver discoveries achieved in 2020 on its two flagship assets, Snoball and Golden Lion, the former located in the heart of B.C.’s so-called “Golden Triangle”, and the latter within B.C.’s “Toodoggone” region, located east of the Golden Triangle within similar “Stikine Terrane” geology.

At Snoball, by virtue of the very high elevation of the initial discovery, the Company believes it is only scratching the top of an untouched new high-grade epithermal vein system present within and below Pyramid Peak and Snoball Ridge.  Drilling and sampling carried out in 2020, including the identification in subcrop of significant new zones of arsenopyrite-rich sulphides, both vein-hosted and disseminated styles, has given us a strong sense as to how and where to precisely target the next phase of drilling so as to potentially achieve superior intercepts in the 2021 field season.

At the GL1 Main prospect on the Company’s Golden Lion property, the Company has confirmed, with early shallow drilling, the presence of a broad (+100 metres true width), long (+500-metres), gold-silver bearing epithermal vein zone carrying bulk tonnage-style grades near surface and encompassing local higher-grade intervals. Fundamentally new and exciting and unknown to previous operator Newmont (1984) are the Company’s geophysical results for GL1 Main, which point to potentially much stronger results directly below the 2020 (and all historical) drilling.  Similar to the case at Snoball, at Golden Lion the Company appears to be just scratching the top of a new, large-scale epithermal system, and knows precisely where to go next for potentially superior results in the forthcoming 2021 drill program.

Join us as, in 2021, we do the exciting, high risk / high reward work of unfolding both these early stage discoveries.
